FluidScan® 1000

Portable Infrared Oil Condition Analyzer

(787) 762-3030

Description

The FluidScan 1000 series is a dedicated direct infrared spectrometer designed for immediate lubricant condition monitoring in the field. This handheld device provides quantitative measurements that are critical for Machine Condition Monitoring and predictive maintenance programs. By analyzing a single drop of oil, users can quickly determine if a lubricant is fit for continued use or if it has been compromised by degradation or contamination from water, fuel, or incorrect fluids.

The system is built for durability with a patented grating dispersive optical system and a solid-state wave guide, eliminating moving parts and the need for frequent recalibration. It is fully compliant with ASTM D7889, ensuring that field results correlate highly with laboratory benchtop FTIR methods. With a comprehensive library of over 850 fluids, the FluidScan provides actionable data for a wide range of applications including engines, gearboxes, turbines, and hydraulic systems.

Key features and benefits:
Handheld design for portable field usage with no moving parts
Immediate quantitative results for water TAN TBN and oxidation
